[Ugh, he couldn't have really expected Rin to drop the issue, could he? Once there was blood in the water there was no stopping his friend from doing anything he had set his mind on--but Makoto was regretting that it was his blood that had to be spilled.
He stared at the phone, contemplating just closing it and trying to fall asleep--but he would feel too bad about leaving Rin hanging like that. It wasn't Rin's fault that he had to be hasty and not double check who he was actually sending his messages to.
And Rin probably just wanted to help. Maybe. Probably. Probably also wanted to see him suffer in equal measures, but Makoto probably deserved that too.
It was a long moment before he could compose himself enough to send out another message:]
